Three Wichita State women placed in the top eight in the javelin.
Andrea Markel finished fourth with a distance of 129 feet 9 inches and Kelsey Kamm finished sixth overall with a throw of 125 feet eight inches. Tanya Friesen finished eighth with a throw of 121 feet 8 inches.
